Charlene has been providing vet physio support to my ex racehorse for the last five years and her in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise is unsurpassed. She is super professional but manages to combine this with an engaging and friendly manner. Charlene has an extensive understanding of a horse’s physiology, and as a professionally trained and highly competent vet physio, she is able to deliver a wide range of therapies to improve a horse’s wellbeing, rather than be reliant on one treatment system. She always shows genuine interest in every case and is clearly passionate about the animals she treats, whilst also demonstrating real empathy with her clients during what can often be a stressful period.
I doubt it would be possible to find someone who cares as much as Charlene, who is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a horse’s comfort and who gives so much of her time to identify the best course of action in both the horse and the rider’s interests.

Charlene was recommended to me by a friend, who had used her for routine physio services for a number of years and always told me, it was thanks to Charlene that she was able to keep her veteran horse fit and healthy. I am so glad, I took up the advice – initially for routine physio to ensure my mare kept in good health and iron out any minor niggles as they arose. More recently Charlene’s help has been invaluable in supporting us with a lameness issue.

I first met Charlene back in June 2023 after my horse Cloud suffered a tear to his deep digital flexor tendon. From day one Charlene has been nothing but incredible and goes above and beyond for her clients. Charlene is both incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy with fair pricing for all she offers. INDIBA has been fantastic in ensuring Clouds DDFT healed as efficiently as possible. I am a firm believer that without the collaborative use of Charlene and the INDIBA, Clouds tendon would not have healed as well as it has. Additionally, Charlene has been a great help in treating my other horse Banjo and his recurrent back issues. Banjo has a complex past of trauma and abuse but Charlene’s calm and naturing way significantly helps Banjo in accepting treatment. Without Charlene and her clinical wisdom, Banjos back issues would still be a mystery. As a result of Charlene’s expertise, I was able to ask my vets to complete an ultrasound where changes to his lumbar facet joints were found and therefore treated. I cannot thank Charlene for all she has done for the boys and I. She has listened to me cry, rant and scream when things felt nothing but confusing, worrisome and frustrating and for that I will always grateful. Cloud specifically adores receiving treatment from Charlene and falls asleep smiling with his floppy bottom lip on a regular basis during his sessions. I will now endeavour to keep both boys under the care and guidance of Charlene for the foreseeable future as I really do truly believe that without her, neither Cloud or Banjo would be as happy as they are now.

Mel & Alba
Charlene has been working with Alba since I bought her three years ago. She needed some quite intense sessions for various reasons and took to the therapy very well. These sessions and reports have also helped with getting the correct saddles fitted (two as she has grown!) as the one she arrived with was totally unsuitable and ill fitting which was causing some problems. This treatment has helped with finding and helping the sore and stiff places and Charlene gave me exercises and massage points to work on. Alba now just has routine maintenance sessions which help to keep a check on those vulnerable places.
Charlene has provided an invaluable service, explained things so that I could understand the issues and what I was able to do to help. She is empathetic and sensitive to the needs of both her equine and human clients and is a lovely person to work with and also very conscientious. I am very grateful and privileged to have her as one of Alba’s ‘team’ who care for her.
